For years, our community has grown steadily in Brentwood, California. What began as a small gathering of faithful families has blossomed into a vibrant, thriving Muslim community that continues to expand with each passing month. Our bonds have strengthened through shared prayers, celebrations, and mutual support.
Right now, our brothers and sisters have no choice but to pray outdoors—unprotected from the elements, at the mercy of the weather.
In the rain. In the bitter winter cold. In the scorching summer heat.
Families bring their young children and stand outdoors because there is simply no more room inside our current facility. Jumu'ah prayers overflow has become the norm, with rows extending far beyond our walls. Our respected elders stand in harsh weather conditions that challenge their health and comfort. Parking has become increasingly difficult, forcing families to walk long distances. Parents struggle to find safe spaces for their children during services.
This situation is long overdue for a solution. Our community deserves better. Our faith deserves a proper home.
"The most beloved of places to Allah are the mosques, and the most disliked of places to Allah are the markets." — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Sahih Muslim)
We need a permanent home—a dignified space where our community can worship, learn, and grow together for generations to come.
A permanent Islamic center that serves Brentwood's growing Muslim population with dignity, comfort, and comprehensive facilities for worship and community.
We are launching an ambitious fundraising effort to construct a purpose-built masjid and comprehensive community center on our existing land. This project represents a historic milestone for us in Brentwood—a permanent establishment that will serve as a beacon of faith, knowledge, and community service.
This isn't just about building walls and a roof. It's about creating a spiritual home that will nurture our children's Islamic identity, provide comfort to our elders, and welcome new Muslims with warmth and proper facilities.
A beautiful, climate-controlled space accommodating hundreds of worshippers comfortably, with separate areas for men and women, proper acoustics, and accessible design for all ages and abilities.
Clean, dignified ablution areas with adequate privacy, and accessibility features. No more makeshift arrangements or inconvenient alternatives.
Safe, engaging areas for youth programs, family events, and community gatherings that strengthen bonds and create lasting memories for our children.
Sufficient parking spaces to accommodate our community during Jumu'ah, Eid prayers, and special events, eliminating current congestion and safety concerns.
A dignified, architecturally beautiful building that represents Islam's values and establishes a lasting Islamic presence in Brentwood for generations to come.
This project is currently in the conceptual stage. The drawings we have today represent a vision of what the masjid can become, not finalized construction documents. All figures below are planning estimates based on early consultant discussions and prior experience — not final bids and not city-approved numbers.
In order to determine a precise, per-penny construction cost, we must first complete the full plans and permitting process. Only after plans are engineered, reviewed, revised, and approved by the County and Building Department can an accurate construction takeoff be produced.
Status: Conceptual layout and early feasibility | Duration: 3–6 months
This is where we are today. The building concept exists, but it is not yet engineered, city-reviewed, or finalized.

This is a multi-phase development project. We cannot responsibly promise exact final numbers or exact completion dates until engineering and approvals are complete. Our commitment is to move forward carefully, responsibly, and transparently — so that when the masjid is built, it is built with trust, clarity, and community confidence at every stage.
This masjid will be more than a building — it will be a living legacy, Insha'Allah. A place where our children grow up rooted in faith, where lifelong friendships are forged, where marriages are blessed, where knowledge is passed from one generation to the next, and where our community returns again and again to find strength, peace, and belonging.

We have developed a clear, achievable plan that distributes this blessed responsibility across our community. We are seeking 500 beautiful souls who will become founding supporters of this historic project by committing to a structured giving plan.
$6,000 total
Averages out to $500 per month throughout the year
$6,000 total
Averages out to $500 per month throughout the year
$12,000 per individual
Over two years of consistent giving
That is on average $500 per month—less than many families spend on dining out, entertainment, or other discretionary expenses. When we redirect a portion of our blessings toward building Allah's house, the impact is transformative.
If 500 fortunate brothers and sisters step forward with conviction and commitment, we build momentum immediately. Construction can begin. Plans can be finalized. Our community can see tangible progress.
This is achievable. This is organized. This is powerful. This is how communities across America have built hundreds of successful Islamic centers—through collective action and sustained commitment.
The Prophet Muhammad ï·º taught us: "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." (Sahih Muslim)
Every prayer made in this masjid. Every child who learns Qur'an within these walls. Every Ramadan night of Taraweeh. Every Janazah prayer offered with dignity. Every Nikah conducted. Every conflict resolved through Islamic mediation. Every convert who takes Shahadah.
The reward continues flowing to those who contributed—even after they leave this world.
Invest in your own Akhirah by establishing a continuous stream of good deeds that will benefit you long after you're gone. This is wealth that truly lasts.
Honor your mother and father by dedicating your contribution as ongoing charity in their names. Every blessing generated by this Masjid adds to their scale of good deeds.
Remember a departed spouse, child, sibling, or dear friend by making this contribution in their memory. Gift them rewards that never cease, Insha'Allah.
You can formally dedicate your contribution as ongoing charity in the name of anyone you choose. Their name will be honored, and most importantly, they will receive the continuous reward of every good deed facilitated by this Islamic center.
"Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity." — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Al-Tirmidhi)
Every masjid that stands today—from the grand Islamic centers in major cities to the humble prayer spaces in small towns—was built because people stepped forward when it mattered. Because believers recognized a moment of need and rose to meet it with faith, courage, and financial sacrifice.
Now it is our turn. This is our moment. This is our test and our opportunity.
The question is not whether we need this masjid—we clearly do. The question is: Will you be among those who answer the call? Will you be counted among the 500 fortunate beautiful souls whose names will be associated with every prayer, every lesson, every positive impact this center generates?
Every week of delay means more families praying in difficult conditions
We have the people, the organization, and the will to succeed
500 fortunate beautiful souls will be the means to make this dream a reality
Let us not delay what is already long overdue. Let us not leave for tomorrow what Allah has blessed us to accomplish today. Our children are watching. Our community is waiting. The reward is immeasurable.
We invite you to join this blessed effort as a supporter. Your commitment of $6000 this year and again next year will help establish a permanent house of Allah in Brentwood—a legacy that will benefit countless souls and earn you continuous rewards.
Step forward with faith. Trust in Allah's promise: "The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven ears; in every ear there are a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies the reward for whom He wills." (Qur'an 2:261)
